LIGHT CHILDREN'S BIKE FOR A GOOD START!
It is particularly important for beginners to choose a bike that is particularly light. Children do not yet have the same strength and endurance as adults and therefore need a bike that corresponds to their body weight and motor skills.

A bike that is too heavy can cause the child to tire quickly and not enjoy the ride. In the worst case, it can lead to accidents because the child can no longer control the bike or cannot react quickly enough. In order to ensure safety and fun when cycling, we developed our ACADEMY Bikes in cooperation with the German Institute for Orthopedics and Sport (DIOOS) Bielefeld. The result is well thought-out bicycles suitable for children, in sizes from 14 to 26 inches with a modern and stylish design.

Our ACADEMY bikes are real lightweights - all models of children's bikes weigh 40 percent less than an average child's weight. The ACADEMY GRADE 2 weighs only 5.3 kg and is ideal for children from a height of 95 centimeters. Our light 14-inch children's bike is recommended for ages 2 to 4 years.

The frames are equipped with deep and narrow bottom brackets to enable child-friendly leg guidance. Short pedal cranks and an upright seating position ensure that the little riders' feet can reach the ground at all times. An ergonomic knee position while driving is always guaranteed.
